Safety Professional

Phoenix, AZ (On-Site)

Pay: $55-$60/hour

Schedule: Monday-Saturday, 5:30 AM-3:30 PM

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Safety Professional to support ongoing safety initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a strong safety culture in a fast-paced operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety inspections and jobsite audits
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards
• Identify hazards and implement corrective actions
• Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and employee training sessions
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents
• Prepare detailed incident reports and recommendations
• Maintain safety documentation and compliance records
• Partner with site leadership to reinforce safe work practices
• Monitor proper PPE usage and adherence to safety protocols

Qualifications

• 3+ years of safety experience in construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards
• Experience conducting safety audits and incident investigations
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• OSHA 30 certification required (or equivalent)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
• CHST, ASP, CSP, or other relevant safety certifications
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
